I want to leave honest and helpful feedback. Although communication between shop and user lacked (had to do multiple call-ins just to see if the car was done), the car seems to be back up and running. At the end of the day, would I come back here? Yes. A baseline price for a part that it wasn't at the end rendered pretty useless. Usually, price is talked about and clearly given before a job. I am not so happy with the dead battery that died out on me twice after taking it here, or the bump in price. So far the end result is that the car works the same way it did before the first mechanic changed the vacuum pump so I am satisfied with the fact that my car is back to normal. I honestly am scrambling to put next months rent in this pandemic. Makes sense for it to be slightly higher in price but $300 extra. This shop changed the mounts which were originally supposed to be $400-500. Yes, that’s already steep and because they got the “the electrical mounts” turn out to be over $700. In my experience most mechanics have been incredibly crooked and when they see a woman, worse. Can a woman that owns her own car go into any mechanic shop in NYC and get hit with FAIR prices? I’m honestly not sure. The car is older (2007) so it makes some sense. I’m really not sure how and why every mechanic I go to never just fixed the issue but also has other things spring up. **update 10/28 So after my car battery di ed on me after they installed a vacuum pump (last mechanic clearly left the job unfinished), the mounts needed replacing. I guess I’ll update this review if something happens. Hopefully since the codes were cleared and reset, hopefully that’s all it needed. The battery died out on me after it left the shop, roughly 15 minutes and the car died. So far so good now, but the car barely made it home. The overall vibe I haven’t decided yet since this was my first time at the shop. It was a little costly for me but Anthony was kind. I came here today for a vacuum pump alignment.
